The 11th birthstone by El-Arte-de-Angelina The 11th birthstone by El-Arte-de-Angelina
This table is first of my series of "the 12 birthstones".

This miniature table is based in the birthstone of November; Topaz.

This stone has many shades, the one chosen here was yellow, so the entire table has shades of yellow everywhere.
Let's start with the book; it has legend and lore about Topaz; and how important was this stone was different cultures like the Egyptian who considered it to be the glow from the God Ra. Also, it says the romans and greeks thought topaz could give extra strength, invisibility, could heal certain diseases and keep death away.
There's a golden box at the bottom, some candles, an unlabeled potion, a "Chrysantemum" jar containing some flowers (the flower of November), "Amon Ra's glow" potion, some mushrooms (decoration XD) and also yellow crystals. There's a preparation board with a little spoon, perhaps for mixing some potions.
Under the golden box, there's a book with ancient pages. 3 candles, a closed envelope, and you can see there's a reproduction of Claude Monet's "Vase with chrysantemums".
And, a "hanging lamp" at the left of the table.

This is what i've used to make this diorama:
cardboard, pine strings, fimo, cork, old candy golden wrapping, pieces of balsa wood, fabric leftovers, acrylic paint, glue, a small bead for the hanging lamp, golden string, my hands, imagination and patience ;)
The crystals are yellow quartz from Brazil since, i dind't have pieces of topaz among my minerals.

This is beautiful and creative! Or maybe it doesn't help that I have a weak spot for magical stones. ^^
